Dr. Gowtham Raja has done his DNB Radiation oncology from Kamala Nehru memorial hospital and RCC Allahabad in 2016.Then he completed his senior residency from a prestigious institute SGPGI, Lucknow in 2018.Thereafter he worked as a consultant in Balabhai nanavati hospital, Mumbai to gain experience in hyperthermia in 2018-2019 and then he started treating patients as a consultant Radiation oncologist in SVICCAR, ACF, TATA TRUSTS in Tirupati and served many patients with passion from 2019 April to 2021 march.

Management Skills and Achievements

• Have good knowledge in computer operation and experience in handling hospital information system.
• Have sound knowledge in different software like eclipse, Monaco, asha treatment planning softwares.
• Have 3 years of experience in VARIAN LINEAR ACCELERATORS.
• Gained satisfactory experience in delivering concomitant Hyperthermia in Head & Neck and GynecologicalMalignacies.
• 3 Year experience in handling ELEKTA LINAC machine.
• Worked with GAMMA MED, MICROSELECTRON, HDR brachytherapy units.
• Member of IAPC and TIPS and carrying a license to establish and practice palliative medicine
• Established Department of Radiation Oncology at Sri venkateswara institute of cancer care and advanced research in Tirupati
• Established a Day care set up at SVICCAR, TATA TRUSTS in tirupatiand Delivered chemotherapy, targeted and immunotherapies in various solid malignancies.
• Conducted more than 2000 intracavitarybrachytherapies and 40 interstitial Brachytherapies Till date.
• Mobilized patients from rural areas During Covid pandemic through Tele consultations , Transport and Made my own protocols to elder patients for radiation treatments and chemotherapy services.
• Organized various outreach camps and delivered speech on Tobacco sessation on various occasions and participated in various awareness activities
• Conducted Screening continuously and regularly on oral, gynaecological, breast malignancies and performed a mass vaccination for cervical cancer for girl childs between 10 to 15 years age groups for last 4 years
